I think we’re all going to get to “own it” pretty darn soon, one way or another - no matter what party passes it’s version of a stimulus package.
    Think about it.

What ever foreign countries that step in to buy the debt to fund this fiasco will hold a trump card over our foreign policy. Think Taiwan and Israel.

Many House Republicans will switch sides when the compromise bill comes up for a final vote. Everybody wants to pile into this bill. It is national madness. Who wants to be left out?

As for the bill—I mean the real bill, the tab for this insane spending binge—they will leave that lying on the table for the next generation to pick up.

    “Think about it.”

I know. But I am impressed with the party discipline this time around.

    Tomorrow is another day.

It’s good to see the R’s stand strong and not cave to HopeandChanginess. Hopefully, they’ll continue to be immune and get back to rational thought and common sense…oh yeah, do what they were put in office to do.

It reminds me of a comment that Roger Koopman made on our local radio when he was in the legislature. He said that Democrats tend to vote en masse and follow the leader, while Republicans tend to be independent thinkers.

Roger was full of s***, of course. Always was.

It is uncanny how adept you are at recognizing people who are full of it.

    I wonder why….
